The first Home Show of the year, put on by Osborne-Jenks. John and the gang will be there exhibiting a corn stove. Stop in and say hello.  Check out Osborne-Jenks site for more info on the event.

The PA Environmental Energy Expo is always a great event that involves lots of environmental education from a large variety of groups. The Festival is exactly that, so if you have the time, stop in or even come and camp out.

Earthinhandcornstoves.com will be there with at least one corn burning stove running.

Update: Earth-in-Hand will not be participating in the Environmental Energy Expo. Although we enjoyed ourselves tremendously the last two years, this coming year, John and his Corn stoves will not be at the Expo.

Again John will be out in all his glory on his faithful workhorse.

July 24-28 – Plainfield Farmers Fair off of rt 191 in Bangor, PA.

John will be on his tractor participating in the tractor pull. Stop in and show your support.

Pumpkin Wagons

The Pumpkin Wagons are out and full of Pumpkins. This picture is from Last year though. I was in charge of the signage, and I spelled pumpkins without the middle “p”…oops. Hurry in while they are available. If there is no one around, there should be a money box to leave your cash in, as this is often a self serve deal.

Earth-in-Hand will be holding its second annual Customer Appreciation Day this weekend. If you have the chance stop on by on Saturday October 7th from 9am to 2pm, do so, and have some burgers and dogs. There will be specials on all the plants in the nursery.

Plainfield Farmers’ Fair will be the setting for Earth-in-Hand Corn Stoves from July 18th to the 22nd. John has been a participant at the fair for many years as a tractor pull contestant, but this is the first year he has had a corn stove exhibit at this particular event. The fair is open most of the day, but gets active in the evening(after 630pm), so John and the crew will still be landscaping in and around Forks Township.
